For one of the learning journeys, we visited Kampong Glam. We were fortunate to have Uncle Teo as our guide. He is very knowlegeable and takes good care of us.
Of course we also had a fabulous parent volunteer, Mrs Quek who made sure we were safe and stayed with the group.
Mr Teo related many stories and information about the culture, traditions and rituals of the Malay/Muslim community.

But one of the most interesting part was the traditional games. In fact, some tourists were fascinated by our class. Both Lexx and Azizul helped to explain and demonstrate some games. Talk about GEM (Going the Extra Mile)...see how they are so confident in explaining. They even win some souvenirs for their classmates. Well done!
